GOBLINS' BEND...The Story.

I have just returned from Orlando, Florida, where I was at the IDEX doll Expo. This is an International doll event, attended by doll artists from around the world.  It was a very unique platform at which I decided to preview my GOBLINS book and clothing line.

After spending much of my career in the performing arts, I decided to combine my love of fantasy and design and bring to life my first story.  I wanted to write a story about a land where make believe characters lived out a drama that we all could relate to, and to design clothing inspired by the characters from the book.  In doing so, the reader could start to collect the costume in her/his dolls size, as well as the six magic hats!

The book is filled with all kinds of creatures, including witches, goblins, trolls, fairies and even the Goblitch!  It is a story that even the non-doll collector could enjoy!   The first costume, is that of RASPINA RASPBURI,  who made her debut at IDEX.  Along with Raspina, was a character from a place called Morwedd, filled with witches!  This is no ordinary witch and she reminds you of that, by the way she allows the dragon bird to sit upon her wrist! The costumes are created using couture techniques and detailed adornments that includes elaborate headpieces with hair sewn into the crown!

Part 1, is an introduction to the story and the characters and even contains a glossary of people and places in the story. What is it about?
Magic and adventure await in Goblins' Bend...
A struggle for control over the power of dark and light rages between two brothers.  the winter solstice is near, and the Criers are growing in numbers and strength.  There is much at stake, and Zarzameeza, the ruler of the sky, creates six magic hats that will play a part in determining the outcome of a great future battle on earth.  The balance of dark and light now lies with the keepers of the hats -  one of whom carries the burden of her destiny.

You can now order your hard cover of book 1, in my etsy store, OR!  You will be able to purchase it  here, on my blog, on E-Books starting next week!  The entire story is scheduled to be released later this year and will keep you updated as we go!

I am very excited about sharing this project with you, and hope you will enjoy reading it.

I would love to hearing from you!
