BJD Costumes, Hats and Stories that go Bump in the Night!...

This week I will be leaving to go up to Silent Valley for the summer, where I will be starting new BJD projects.  First up?  I am currently finishing three new GOBLIN costumes and creating their headpieces.  They will be listed in my etsy store very soon.  If you are going to be at the August Doll and Teddy Bear Show, in Clairemont Ca., or the BJD Convention in November in Mission Bay, San Diego, Ca.  I will be there in person to help you customize and select each piece of your costume!  Each costume comes with 5-7 pieces and includes a unique, OOAK headpiece.   If you are on my mailing list, this week you read about RASPINA RASPBURI'S costume and a little bit about who she is and the designing of her headpiece and costume.  If you would like to received my newsletter, please fill out the mailing list sign up section right here on my blog!

The aesthetic approach I have taken to these particular designs, is very natural and raw in concept and construction.  Each costume is layered with several different pieces and the headpieces all include the hair, which is sewn into the crown.  Each one is different and unique in the shape, color and size.  As you read the book, you will be able to collect costumes that were inspired by this adventure. The entire first book adventure will be available later this year.  In the meantime, start with book #1 in order to meet each character and start the journey!  You can download the story right here on my blog on e-books or you can purchase the hard copy in my etsy store.

Into summer fashion?  There are a few whimsical summer designs still available in my esty

store so come see what you'd like!  Below is a large chocolate brown straw design, just in time for summer. Look for it in the store!

Just fill out the  "signup" section to the right of my blog!

What's new?  First I would like to invite you to visit my etsy store, where you will be able to view and purchase the hats from both the "Pastry" and "Paris" collection.  There are still some hats available and they are in the perfect seasonal colors.  You will also see that I have included my "over sized" pink petticoats.  These are so much fun!  They are for the SD13 size dolls, and could also fit a slightly shorter doll.  They make a great skirt for steampunk, punk and a variety of unique looks.  I also have two available in black, so contact , if you are interested.  I have a limited amount of WONDERFUL matching black and pink stretch tops and tights as well.

Now on Sale!...I am so excited that Part 1 of GOBLINS' BEND is now available for you right here on my blog!  Just download it from e-books!  If you would prefer to have the hard copy, you can purchase it from my etsy

store while supplies last.

This months' newsletter is on its' way and in it I have talked about RASPINA RASPBURI. Many of you have asked about who she is, how did I decide on her costume, and...her magic hat!  In the newsletter this month, I begin to tell you about her and have included her description from the book.

I have had many questions about her and her costume and yes....you can order a costume for your doll and it does include the headpiece!  As a head wear designer, and costume creator, I am thrilled to make this, the first costume from the story available to you!  If you have questions about sizing and, or ordering, please feel free to contact me. In the meantime...please enjoy the introduction  to the characters and adventure in GOBLINS' BEND!
